Word Play
Creating an image for the cover was my first task in developing a theme for this book. After exploring many concepts, the title brought an inspiration of a scrabble tiles.
In 2012 I photographed the portrait image of the author for his biography web page and back cover of this and other books.
Word Play was published in 2013. The author supplied a simple word document. The first task was to add style sheets and create chapters to create an automated table of contents.
Creating a typography style for the page layout was inspired by the tiles in the image. After laying out this 308-page book for print, the next task was the conversion of this work for kindle.
Manager's Craft
Manager's Craft was published in 2012. This 204-page book was created from a simple word document. The first task was to add style sheets and create chapters to create an automated table of contents.
Tasks included: cover image research from stock art, creating a typography style for the page layout, creating print ready files, and conversion of this work for kindle.
